Computer History in Maryland

The Baltimore ACM Chapter announces our next event

"Computer History in Maryland"

We begin with a guided tour of the Computer History Museum
in Hunt Valley, followed by a panel discussion on the history
of computing in Maryland.

Panelists:

Bob Roswell is the Curator of the Computer History Museum. He is the
founder and co-owner of System Source, a computer systems integration
company.

Joyce Little is a professor and founding chair of the Computer Science
Department at Towson University, and a Fellow of the ACM and AAAS.
She will recount stories of the early days of computing at colleges
and universities in and around Baltimore.

A third panelist is to be announced.

Light fare will be served starting at 6:30 pm (sandwiches and
refreshments). We expect the tour to last approximately half
an hour, followed by the panel discussion for about an hour.
